Experimental Demonstration of Physical-Layer Security In A Fiber-Optic Link by Information Scrambling

We experimentally demonstrate a secure optical fiber communication link that prohibits an undetected eavesdropper to detect any useful information. Our approach is based on a simple linear feedback shift register and classical communication, thus scaling to multi-Terabits/s of secure bit rates.
