Experimental Investigation of a Cascaded Optical 2R Regenerator in an Optical Fibre Link

BER evolution of a transmission including a cascade of 2R regenerator based on a Saturable absober and a SOA is studied. In addition the influence of the transmission function of the regenerator is investigated.
