Fabrication and performance of InP Bragg reflector/CSBH single frequency lasers.

Single longitudinal mode operation of channeled-substrate buried heterostructure lasers is stabilized by coupling to external InP/InGaAsP Bragg reflectors. Ease of fabrication, excellent performance and high individual component reliability compare favorably with SCBR lasers, integrated Bragg reflectors and DFB lasers.
