Far Infrared Spectroscopy of CeCu6
16 March 1987
We have measured the reflectivity of polycrystalline samples of CeCu6 at temperatures between 2 and 40K. We find that reflectivity at 2K shows a peak near 40 cm-1 and that the data are converted to resistivity, a corresponding anomaly is seen near that frequency followed at higher frequencies (150 to 300 cm-1) by a slow variation with a magnitude similar to the zero frequency resistivity at 300K. The low frequency structure shows little temperature dependence over the range studied.
