Fast Converters for 400Gbit/s Optical Transmission and Test & Measurement Equipment ; Photonic RF-Transmitter Concept

Poster presentation of two demonstrator concepts which are targeted in public funded project Rf2THzSiSoC. Beside other partners ALUD has been invited to present their project contribution on CATRENE/ENIAC nanoelectronic Forum 2012. The project aims at development of a photonic SiGe BiCMOS technology platform in Europe. ALUD will demonstrate the technology performance by means of 2 challenging applications, i.e. a setup for demonstration of fast wideband ADc and DAC for a 400Gbit/s optical transmission system (Demo1a) and an integrated line up of Ge-photo diode-TIA-rf-switch mode power amplifier for a photonic 3G/4G (femto) base station transmitter (Demo2) .
