Few-Mode-FiberWavelength-Selective Switch supporting 6 spatial modes

We demonstrate a novel few-mode fiber based 1 x 11 wavelength-selective switch that supports fibers with 6 spatial modes. The switch was fully characterized using a optical vector network analyzer. Performance is also confirmed by transmitting a mode-multiplexed signal throught the switch with only xx dB added penalty.
