Fiber Nonlinearity Compensation by Repeated Phase Conjugation in 2.048-Tbit/s WDM transmission of PDM-16-QAM Channels

We demonstrate compensation of fiber nonlinearities using repeated optical phase conjugation (OPC) in a WDM system with 8 32-Gsym/s PDM 16-QAM channels, showing improved performance over a single mid-span OPC and no OPC.
