Field Demonstration of 100-Gb/s Real-Time Coherent Optical OFDM Detection

The field demonstration of 100-Gb/s real-time CO-OFDM detection is reported for the first time. The paper includes the lowest BER of 5x10-9 for the back-back transmission and the successful 500-km transmission over the installed fiber.
