Films of High-T sub c Superconductors

Techniques for the fabrication and characterization of thin- film high-T sub c superconductors will be reviewed. This will include a discussion of the technique of reactive ion beam sputter deposition presently being pursued by this speaker. The technical challenges which remain will be related to more general questions concerning the physics of superconductivity in these thin-film systems.
