GaAs ICs For Analog and Digital Applications

A review of GaAs IC technology is presented with emphasis on capabilities of heterojunction FETs (HFETs) for lightwave, microwave, and LSI digital applications. Special emphasis is placed on issues connected with moving the technology into a manufacturing environment and out to the final systems customers. A brief review of heterojunction bipolar (HBT) capabilities is also presented.
