Global-Scale Studies of ULF Waves and Impulsive Events Using the 2-9 January 1986 Interval of Special Interest Data Base

Examples of the use of the growing international data base covering the interval 2-9 January 1986 will be presented. The phenomena that have been studied include Pc5 waves (1150-1230 UT on 7 January, 1500-1800 UT on 8 January), an SI and associated ipcl (1230 UT on 7 January), a global impulsive precipitation event (near 0000 UT on 8 January), and various impulsive perturbation events (including 1627 UT on 3 January).
