Green Communication and Networking

This slide deck has been prepared for an upcoming workshop between Bell Labs and the University of Cambridge, UK to discuss mutual interests in green communication and networking and explore potential future collaboration opportunities. It provides an introduction, motivation, background and status update on the GreenTouch consortium . It highlights some of the possible promising research directions for dramatically improving the energy efficiency in wireless, wireline access and core networks.
