With the explosive growth in the number of wireless users and the data traffic needs, how to improve coverage and provide ubiquitous broadband access causes a great challenge for operators. This paper presents a green wireless channel concept for the indoor coverage enhancement. The whole system is composed of the donor antenna, the service antenna and the coaxial cable. These antenna prototypes have good features of minimization, high gain etc. To verify its real applications, we have demonstrated the coverage enhancement under the real commercial 3G WCDMA network through multi-antenna passive energy harvesting and forwarding without any additional power consumption. When users are in the poor coverage, over 20 dB receiving power improvement can be achieved by employing the proposed passive antenna system. Finally, we proposed an interference cancellation algorithm which can further improve the receiving SINR.
