Growth Processes in Plasma-Assisted Molecular-Beam Epitaxy Of ZnO and (Mg, Zn, Cd)O

Investigations on epitaxial growth processes, both microscopic and macroscopic, in plasma-assisted molecular-beam epitaxy (P-MBE) of ZnO and (Mg,ZN,Cd)O alloys are discussed. Reflection high-energy electron diffraction (RHEED) and RHEED intensity oscillations, with assistance from atomic force microscope (AFM) are the main tools in these studies.
