Heavy Fermions and Superconductivity

Experiments are discussed which shed light on the physics of a Kondo lattice, the interactions likely to mediate superconductivity, and the unconventional superconducting state. Comparing magnetization and magnetoresistance in UBe13 reveals that a description of this Kondo lattice at low temperature requires more than one scale.
