High Efficiency/High Bandwidth Preamplified Receiver for High Speed Networks

We present a high efficiency preamplified receiver with a responsivity up to 160 A/W, a low noise figure close to 7 dB for very SOA current of 40 mA and a 3-dB bandwidth up to 55 GHz for future optical network.
