SYSTIMAX(TM) PDS (premises distribution system) is an AT&T building distribution offering for StarLAN(TM) 10, and Token Ring (TM) local area networks (LANs), in addition to voice and most high speed data needs. These LANs operate at data rates of 10 and 4/16 megabits per second (Mb/s), respectively, on normal copper building cable, type 1010 and 2010.
