High T sub c Superconductors - Where is the Beef?

The potential applications of the new high T sub c superconductors can be broken into three categories: (1) electronic applications, (2) magnetic field generation, and (3) new devices. The most important of these from a telecommunications view, is possible electronic applications, and the most frequently discussed potential application is superconducting transmission lines.
