Highly-Integrated Planar Lightwave Circuit Wavelength Selective Switch

We report for the first time large-scale integration of AWG filters and thermo-optic switches and attenuators in 2% delta silica-on-silicon waveguides. A compact high performance wavelength selective switch is demonstrated.
