Hybrid Integrated Sources for WDM Systems

We report on a 1.55 micron low chirp EA-modulated hybrid integrated wavelength selectable DFB laser array. We will discuss the InP chip and hybrid assembly technologies used, and show low chirp 2.5 Gbit/s operation over 16 50GHz spaced channels.
