The impact of the spectral roll-off and the dispersion map on the peformance of dispersion-managed 50 GHz spaced 32GB PDM-QPSK WDM systems is experimentally studied. Pulse-shaping nonlinearity mitigation gain, impact of polarization interleaving on performance stability, and cycle-slip are addressed.
