Indoor/outdoor concentrations and indoor surface accumulations of ionic substances.
01 January 1984
The airborne concentrations of chloride, nitrate, sulfate, sodium, ammonium, potassium, magnesium, and calcium in fine particles (nominally 2.5micron diameter) and coarse particles (2.5-15micron) have been measured indoors and outdoors at telephone exchange buildings in Wichita, Kansas and Lubbock, Texas. These concentrations are compared with the average annual indoor surface accumulations of these ions on zinc and aluminum structural surfaces associated with the electronic equipment.
