Industrial Aspects of Photoelectrochemistry
20 July 1986
The electronics and lightwave communication industries are using today non-solar photoelectrochemical processes to deposit microscopic metallizations, to manufacture integrated microlenses for focussing light from light-emitting diodes into glass fibers for optical communications, to make microgratings, and to pattern submicron-size features in integrated circuits. Thus, photoelectrochemistry is forming the basis for new, valuable technologies.
