Inrush Current Control for Equipment Powered by UPS's

When equipment is powered from a commercial AC source, the power source is virtually infinite and furnishes a large Inrush current which is not usually a problem. In most instances when the input protective device (fuse or circuit breaker) is properly chosen so that the Inrush current does not cause nuisance operation, the users need not concern themselves with Inrush.
