ISO 14001 - Effective Management of Sustainable Design

Lucent Technologies' wireless business unit, Mobility Solutions, has successfully developed, implemented and maintains a Product-Based Environmental Management System (PBEMS) which simultaneously manages environmental and business peocesses. Through the PBEMS sustainability concepts are applied to the design and development of wireless hardware products worldwide. The PBEMS conforms to the requirements of the ISO 14001 international standard and has received third-party certification.
