Knowledge Engineering - A Human Performance Perspective

This session explores critical issues facing Knowledge Engineering (KE). Ke and Human Performance Technology (HPT) address similar problems. HPT develops designs to improve organizational performance and training. KE develops computer simulations of expert performance. HPT has effective techniques to describe behavior and thought processes. KE has evolved its own methods to formalize the performance of the human expert. Presenters will discuss possible synergistic relationship between KE and HPT.
