LAPD Conformance Testing

A new link level protocol, the Link Access Protocol on the D-Channel will be used extensively in ISDN networks. It is therefore important to ensure that all LAPD implementations conform to the protocol specification so that they can communicate successfully. This conformance testing is typically done by comparing the behavior of the implementation with the specifications of the protocol under controlled test conditions. ;
