Limits of spectral efficiency and transmission reach are analyzed by an O-OFDM DWDM system with bit-rates of 10- 600Gb/s and QPSK/n-QAM modulation reaching 12 bit/s/Hz. Besides using the ITU 50GHz grid transmission of OFDM Superchannels is studied.
