Linear measurement of space-time coupling in ultrashort optical pulses and definition of a degree of spatio-temporal uniformity

We demonstrate a self-referencing linear technique to measure space-time coupling in the electric field of an ultrashort light pulse. We define the degree of spatio-temporal uniformity to experimentally quantify the spatial or angular chirp.
