In this article we will discuss measurements of localization effects in quasi-one-dimensional lithium microstructures in which one or more dimensions are small in comparison with the inelastic diffusion length. We will first discuss the method for preparing these microstructures and then present data on thee 1 sup D localization effect, a direct measurement of Thouless' length dependent conductance and finally the Aharonov-Bohm effect.
