Looking Over AT&T`s DEFINITY(TM) 75/85 Communications System

DEFINITY(TM) 75185-AT&T's new enhanced communications system- is a merger of the architectures of its premier PBXs, System 75 and System 85. The DEFINITY Generic 1 serves customers needing up to 1600 lines and DEFINITY Generic 2 is for customers requiring up to 30,000 lines. The DEFINITY 75/85 System is the first premises-based communications system to work with both ISDN primary and basic rate interfaces. The DEFINITY System is the evolution to a single communications system having common terminals, common port hardware, and a common architecture supporting a family of processors and system management tools.
