Low Contention and High Resilience to Partial Failures in Colorless and Directionless OXC

In this paper, we demonstrate that a modular, colorless, and directionless add/drop blocks targeting 4 and 8degree wavelength routing cross-connects can achieve internal blocking ratio smaller than 1% even in case of partial failure.
