Low-Dimension Structured Materials Produced by Molecular Beam Epitaxy - From Magnetic Heterostructures to High T sub c Oxide Thin Films
08 May 1989
One of the most exciting developments in condensed matter physics in the decade is the research on artificially structured materials due to the invention of advanced thin film techniques of molecular beam epitaxy. This talk gives an overview on the novel properties of magnetic thin films and superlattices, as well as the research on high temperature superconducting oxide thin films.
