Low Voltage high Speed travelling wave InGaAsP-InP phase modulator

A high speed, low drive voltage InGa AsP/InP phase modulator with a multiple quantum well waveguide and coplanar travelling wave electrodes has been developed. A small signal bandwidth of 35 GHz and a Vpi of 1.8V has been demonstrated.
