MAT: A Generation Tool of Layout Generators (NOT PUBLISHED)

With the advent of VLSI technology, chips to be fabricated are of great complexity. There are many highly regular structures in a chip, such as PLA, RAM, ROM or shift registers, which can be laid out efficiently by generator programs. Thus design time and human errors can be reduced dramatically by using these layout generators in chip design.
