More on Women in Science: How High The Moon
11 October 1989
The idea of women making useful and important contributions to basic research in the physical sciences is a novel one throughout the world. The purpose of this talk is to explore the questions: Why are there so few women in physics and what can we women learn from men, other than mathematics, that will help us gain recognition for our contributions in a man's world? My conclusion is that, today, for women working in a man's world, these question are two sides of the same coin.
