Performance of an Optical Switch based on 3D MEMS crossconnect

We demonstrate 12-14 ms average time to establish multiple connections. Each connection supports dynamic gain equalization function. We have demonstrated a shared mesh restoration on a small optically-transparent network, with SONET-like restoration times.
