Photonics in the Network of the Future

The goal is to forge a new kind of partnership between government and industry in order to exploit today's most dynamic technology. The challenge is to hammer out a common platform from which to launch that new partnership -- a platform based on common issues that can lead to common standards for the technology of photonics.
