Power from the people: Reverse power feeding

As fiber moves closer to the home, DSLAMs are turning into Distribution Point Units (DPUs). These DPUs are smaller, serve fewer subscribers and are often in locations without access to power. Reverse Power Feeding (RPF) will enable flexible powering of DPUs, but requires concerted engineering development to become a reality.
