Predicting Development Difficulty from Software Feature Descriptions

This study explored whether the language in software specifications can be used to predict later software development difficulties. Using automated measures, I analyzed the style and content of written specifications and the style and complexity of their corresponding software modules, then related those measures to problems encountered in developing the modules.
