Predicting the Geographical Distribution of Microwave Fading From Ground-Based Climatological Measurements

Knowledge of the geographical distribution of refractive fading is required for the optimum design of microwave radio systems. A map previously used by AT&T Communications for this purpose has been revised by incorporating the results of many new field measurements of fading that were conducted since its creation.
