Preparing for the Job Search During Four Years of College

The purpose of this talk is to advise engineering students on how to get the most from the opportunities in their collegiate years so that they are attractive to industry when interviewing for their first "real" job. There are four major categories that are normally discussed during a campus interview--scholastic achieve- ment, career goals, communication skills and work experience. Each of these topics will be discussed in detail as to why it is important and how to get the best experience during the college years.
