Progress in Chemical Beam Epitaxy

The process of chemical beam epitaxy (CBE) has attracted very significant interest recently. Important progress has been made, not only in understanding the growth mechanisms, but also in the preparation of compound semiconductor materials and heterostructures for both electronic and photonic device applications. This talk will highlight some of this recent progress.
