Quantum noise properties of parametric amplifiers driven by two pump waves II: numerical results

In a recent report (Lucent ITD-04-45442S) formulas were derived for the noise figures of a parametric amplifier (PA) driven by two pump waves, in which a signal sideband is coupled to three idler sidebands. These formulas involve transfer functions, which relate the input and output amplitudes of the sidebands. In this report the transfer functions are determined numerically, and the aforementioned formulas are used to determine the noise characteristics of a parametric device used as an amplifier and a frequency convertor.
