Simultaneous Viewing and Editing (SV&E) of Unigraphics Files

This presentation will review the implementation of a Simultaneous Viewing and Editing (SV&E) capability which allows two (or more) design stations to interactively access the same file in real time. The scope of this presentation will include the definition of SV&E, overview the third party software that is being utilized for this capability, and discuss the implementation of this technology within the AT&T Unigraphics community. This software is providing on- line design reviews between manufacturing and R&D, remote system support and system security in several beta sites within AT&T. The intended audience for this presentation is personnel responsible for the mechanical design process.
