Solid State NMR Study of Phase Transitions in Poly(Organophosphazenes)
AT&T Bell Laboratories - Variable temperature sup 13 C and sup 31 P NMR in the solid state has been used to study the phase transitions observed by differential scanning calorimetry in poly(bis(4-ethylphenoxy)phosphazene) Differences in chemical shift positions and spin lattice relaxation times, T, provide information about the solid state aspects involved in the thermal transition behavior.
