Some Short Studies in Line Design

We discuss several small studies done in support of an effort to establish a new flexible manufacturing line. The studies done include the estimation of the number of machines required, the simulation of various linkage scenarios for the machines on the line, and the determination of the impact of different operational procedures on total setup time.
