Statistical Distribution of Parameters in a Variable Delay Two-Ray Propagation Model.
Digital microwave communication systems are sensitive to dispersive multipath fading that can degrade the system performance. In the past, several propagation models for fading phenomena have been proposed in which the number of paths generated, together with the parameters such as the relative amplitude and the relative delay, play an important role. Therefore it is important to determine the statistics of these parameters. This memorandum describes the statistics of the parameters of propagation for the variable delay two-ray model and Rummler's model.
