STIMULATED ELECTRONIC ANTI-STOKES RAMAN EMISSION IN QUANTUM CASCADE LASERS

We report the first observation of stimulated electronic Anti- Stokes Raman emission in Quantum Cascade lasers, monolithically integrating pump and nonlinear regions. Novel designs for second- harmonic generation and difference frequency mixing are also discussed.
