Stochastic Nonlinear Interference in Dispersion Managed 100G-Homogeneous Coherent Optical Links

We show by simulation that the nonlinear interference distortion has a stochastic nature that can be well approximated by a Gaussian distribution, even in presence of polarization mode dispersion.
